Send a handwritten Thank You Note!

In the past entries, I have told you about Send Out Cards, Amazing Mail and thecardstore.com. If you just need a handwritten note, this may be for you:

This information comes from speaker Allan Ramsay:

Rather than sending email or trying to reach a decision maker by phone, which is a common struggle in finding new business, I’ve started using a service from www.inkanote.com that lets me send personalized, hand-stamped, “handwritten” notes to the people I need to reach. I find that sending a personal note gets right past the gatekeeper and on to the person I need to speak with. The service puts a real 42-cent stamp on the envelope and prints the address with a handwritten look. One can choose from over a dozen handwriting styles. Just go to their site and register; there’s no software to buy. They also provide an optional free plug-in for Outlook that lets one send Ink-a-Notes directly to one’s Outlook contacts. It also integrates with Salesforce.com, and for large mailings, offers a “merge” feature which is great for sending thank-you notes to people who have attended an event.
