Last week David Pogue of the NY Times wrote a column called “Tech Tips for the Basic Computer User” — essential tech bits (like keyboard shortcuts) that you just assume everyone knows, but you’re wrong. He invited readers to send in their own such tips.
In a week, more than 1100 people sent in tips; Pogue’s going to write a book about them.
In the meantime, you can read all the tips here.
There are a number of duplicates, but I guarantee you’ll find a lot of tips where you’ll say, "Wow — I didn’t know you could do that!"
