From Speakernetnews.com comes this advice from professional speaker, Ann Davis:
For years I struggled to find a reliable way to back up my main computer.. Because I have so many photos and graphics, my files were huge. I tried all sorts of systems, from copying files onto CDs to flash drives to external hard drives. Everything I tried was tedious and slow. The simplest and most reliable system I have found is an online resource: Carbonite. It is easy to install (Windows only now; Mac coming), setup takes just one minute, and it’s completely automatic. As soon as you add or modify a file Carbonite automatically backs it up to their secure servers. You don’t have to do anything! And the best part is, it’s only $49.95 per year — no matter how much stuff you need to back up. My laptop crashed a month after I signed up for Carbonite and it was easy to put all my files and programs on my new laptop. Check it out at carbonite.com. BTW, you can earn free months through their referral program.

I heard of Carbonite just last year from Rush Limbaugh and just recently signed up. It's very easy to use and I'm so relieved to know that I now have a reliable source to back up all my files, photo's, etc. Great source to share with others. Thanks Dan!
I prefer http://www.MyOtherDrive.com for online backup. They have unattended backup operation and 128-bit encryption. They have advanced file sharing capabilities too - you can share files publicly or privately. Private sharing lets you control who can view your shared files - stops your personal photos and videos from leaking out on the Internet.
Recently, they added the ability to copy files between accounts - no need for upload / download in this case - very cool.
